We are so excited to announce that GK Icon USA will soon be making and selling the “Mack” glove on their site! You may remember that Mike Amman came to this year’s annual Mack Brady Clinic and along with Penn State’s own Michael Behonick put on a great goalkeeping clinic for our young players. He is the co-founder of GK Icon USA which is dedicated to the development of goalkeepers and GK coaches from the youngest age on up.
Mike and Michael approached us with the idea of a glove featuring Mack’s patch and we were very excited about the prospect. Then Mike sent us the design…wow! These are not only going to be of the best quality, but totally wicked looking! GK Icon is an incredible organization and they work with keepers from U10 to pro (and sell gloves in corresponding sizes as well!). We are currently working through details, but the proceeds of the sale of these gloves from GK Icon’s site will most-likely go to provide scholarships for U10 goalkeepers to attend GK Icon camps and clinics. We will also have some gloves to sell at State College Celtic and Penn State events and those proceeds will go to support Mack’s Penn State Fund.
